Postdoctoral position available at ENI-Alicante

A postdoctoral position is available in our research team at the Instituto de Neurociencias (UMH-CSIC) at San Juan de Alicante, Spain.

Our research focuses on the role of transcriptional regulation in the storage and maintenance of long-term memories. To this end, our laboratory applies a multidisciplinary approach that combines molecular and cellular biology, mouse genetics and behavior with electrophysiology.

We are specifically looking for an electrophysiologist with extensive previous experience in intracellular and/or field recording in brain slices. Communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, are also required. Funding is available for an initial period of 18 months, starting on September/October 2009.
