Subprojects include:

1. The role of presynaptic and postsynaptic glycine and GABA receptors at central synapses.
2. Modulation of GABA-B receptors by auxiliary subunits.
3. The roles of glycine uptake in the medial nucleus of the trapezoid body.
4. Regulation of firing properties of auditory neurons by Ih and Ca-activated K+ channels.
